HFJ 31
This rail car originates from Hällefors – Fredriksbergs Railway which had the track gauge 802 mm. A priorly lengthened Volvo car body was mounted on a heavy railway frame in 1937. The rail car was then used in Sunday trains until 1954, and thereafter as a service vehicle until 1970. It was donated to ÖSlJ two years later and was rebuilt to 600 mm gauge. The car received a turntable in 1978, enabling it to change direction anywhere on the line. A major overhaul was completed in 1990 and was put back into operation, but the brakes and transmission are still original.
Not in use, due to problems with the gearbox.
