Locomotive 12, Grefven

Manufactured in 1931 by Orenstein & Koppel.
The locomotive’s name means “The count” in Swedish.
Locomotive 13, Munken

Munken is a diesel locomotive made in 1936 for the Munkedal railway by Sala Maskinfabrik (Sala machine factory), originally called Torno. It was assigned locomotive number 4 at Munkedals railway and was used for shunting in the harbor. It was donated to ÖSlJ in 1965, was used for shunting for a few years. It was then overhauled and was put back into operation by 1997.
The locomotive’s name means “The monk” in Swedish.
Locomotive 15, Garpen

The wire mill at Garphyttan rebuilt its tracks for locomotive use, and bought an accumulator locomotive from ASEA in 1915. The locomotive stayed there until 1965 when it was taken over by the Swedish Tram Society, and by ÖSlJ three years later. It has primarily been used for shunting. The body has been rebuilt with some changes to its dimensions. The accumulators have been changed once, but are currently in very poor condition.
Not in use, awaiting change to new accumulators.
Locomotive 16, Aspa

Aspa pulp mill bought this locomotive from Deutz for its forestry railway in 1923. It was fitted with a new motor in 1948 and was used until the late 1960s. Aspa was brought to ÖSlJ in 1970 where it saw use during trackwork. Between 1974 and 1984 the engine was renovated, the gearbox was changed, and the engine compartment and cab were rebuilt. The locomotive is usually used for heavy shunting and during trackwork, but it’s also sometimes used in regular services.
Locomotive 17, Storvik

Manufactured in 1954 by Jenbacher Werke.
Not in use.
Locomotive 18, Pyret

Originally built for mine operation. Manufactured in 1972 by AGV.
Used for shunting at the workshops in Mariefred.
Locomotive 19, Värtan

Made in 1968 by Kalmar Workshops.
Used for shunting in Läggesta Nedre.
Locomotive 20, Surahammar

Manufactured in 1935 by Slip-Naxos.
Recently overhauled, sees regular use since 2020.
Locomotive 21, Gaivoron

Manufactured in 1974 in the former USSR by the machine factory in Kambarka, KMZ. The locomotive was then used primarily for shunting at the railway workshops in Gaivoron, Ukraine. Originally made for 750 mm gauge, but rebuilt for 600 mm gauge in Estonia during 2010-2011, commissioned by ÖSlJ. The rebuild also included a new engine and a new cab where ÖSlJ designed the interior and instrumentation.
