The rolling stock in ÖSlJs collection accurately show how the rolling stock on the narrowest narrow-gauge railways developed over time. Only a few types of vehicles are missing before the collection can be deemed complete. We have vehicles from all of Sweden’s seven 600 mm narrow-gauge railways that operated passenger trains, and several vehicles from industries that used the same gauge.
Conservation and development
ÖSlJ has written a development and conservation plan for our rolling stock. One of our goals is to be able to show a representative train set for the seven Swedish 600 mm-railways better than today, as well as be able to show ÖSlJs development over the years in another train set.
The latest version from 2017 is available for download below. It is however entirely in Swedish.
